Selmer Paris Commission World Premiere
On Sunday 15th November 2009 at the 9th Royal Northern College of Music Saxophone Day, alto saxophone soloists Vincent David & Carl Raven, with the RNCM Saxophone Choir, gave the World Premiere of 'Tjuonavagge', composed by Andy Scott and specially commissioned by Selmer Paris Saxophones.
The title may be translated as 'Gateway to Lapland' and reflects the angular, icy and spectacular scenery of Scandinavia. 'Tjuonavagge' is to be published by Astute Music in Spring 2010 (download only).
